Fundacion Chol-Chol aims to improve the quality of life of the Ninth Region’s rural community, through strengthening the families’ autonomous, social and economic development and their cultural recognition. Through the Volunteers Program, The Chol-Chol Foundation makes it possible to donate, freely and supportively, time and talent to help achieve the noble goal of overcoming poverty in the most destitute rural areas of the Araucania Region, Chile. Thus, we have the great advantage of welcoming professionals and students, both Chilean and foreign, to work on an unpaid basis with The Chol-Chol Foundation, where their expertise is required, but there is a lack of resources to finance them.
