At Primeros Pasos, we work hand in hand to offer quality and affordable
healthcare and health education to the underserved communities of the Palajunoj
valley just outside of Quetzaltenango, a small city in the Western Highlands of
Guatemala.
With the collaboration of Guatemalan and international health professionals,
health educators, volunteers and community leaders, Primeros Pasos strives to
improve the reliability as well as the accessibility of its services. Unlike
other clinics, our project is a non-profit, independent organization with a
comprehensive outlook on healthcare. Combining clinical care, basic laboratory
analysis, in-clinic education and school-based outreach programs, we not only
cure the ill but help develop conscientious, organized communities that will in
turn take advantage of our services and assist us in disease prevention and
education.
We are always looking for volunteers to fill the following positions: Doctors,
PAs, RNs, fourth year medical students, dentists, lab technicians, and health
educators. |
