The Friendship Association for Community Education (FACE) Nepal is a locally run
charitable organization with international oversight. FACE was formed in
response to frustration with existing aid groups that were unable to address the
social, educational, and environmental problems facing rural inhabitants of
Nepal.
Visitors can choose from an overwhelming list of programs enabling them to work
in many fields: educational an social programs with children, women's
empowerment, social concerns, and environmental education and protection. Visit

FACE Nepal's programs are very affordable and include room and board. Costs
start at around $425 per month and drop significantly with longer stays (2
months is under $300 per month). |
