Volunteer in Nepal
Nepal is well known for Mount Everest, but did you know that it
contains 8 of the 10 highest peaks in the world? The
primary religion in Nepal is Hinduism, and there are many
beautiful temples to explore. Make sure you make the trek
to view the Pashupatinath Temple, the largest Shiva temple
in the world. Unfortunately, Nepal is also well known for
its low per-capita income of $300 per year which leads to
wide spread poverty. Volunteer to help these people by
ensuring that they have food, shelter, and basic medical
care. Assistance building small industry to make families
and villages more self sufficient is a priority since
many of the country's provinces are not linked by roads
making the distribution of goods and services more
